Understanding Behavioral Skills

This skill involves recognizing and developing the ability to respond effectively by managing emotions, thoughts, and actions. These skills are essential for building strong interpersonal relationships, improving communication, and enhancing leadership abilities. By fostering emotional intelligence, empathy, and conflict resolution, individuals can better navigate challenges, influence others positively, and perform at their best in both personal and professional settings. These competencies play a key role in driving organizational success and personal growth.

 

Unlocking Behavior Technique

This program gives participants an in-depth understanding of their personal selling style, both the strengths and limitations. Studies have validated that “people buy from people they like” and participants learn a proven and easy-to-apply behavioral identification method that helps them to instantly connect with customers, form stronger relationships, and close more sales. They will distinguish behaviors that help and hinder them in the sales process, as well as specific approaches that frustrate customers and have them buy elsewhere.

We have invested in having our entire US selling organization attend Data Dome’s Behavioral Selling Skills program. After the training, the reps primarily utilize DISC in their appointment pre-planning to customize their presentations and conversations to fit the customer’s needs. Following are statistics from a survey we conducted:

  • Use of DISC has positively influenced 45% of the business/revenue closed
  • DISC is leveraged in 55% of customer interactions
  • 99% of the reps say that it has improved their customer relationships

Even with the highest caliber of sales talent in our organization, it is clear that the training received through Data Dome’s Behavioral Selling Skills program elevated the Sales Rep’s skills and performance.
